Here are my sketches from my visit to the NGV's furniture collection.
The three pieces I focused on were:
- Gaetano Pesce, "Up Chair", 1969
- Eero Aarino, "Globe Chair", 1963-5
- Verner Panton, "Panton Chair", 1960
I was looking for dynamic shapes, elliptic/spherical forms, and shadow/highlight.
